Tell us a little about yourself.

Hi, I'm Olivia! I'm a proud cat mom to three spoiled fur babies, and when I'm not coordinating and keeping things on track, I love spending my time crocheting cozy projects, playing a fun game of pickleball, or wandering the farmers market for goodies. Life's all about balance - and for me, that means mixing a little creativity, activity, and community into every day.

What is your favorite part about being a wedding coordinator?

My favorite part of coordinating is seeing all the creativity and planning come to life on wedding day. I love watching how each couple's unique style shines through - whether it's in the decor, the little personalized touches, or one-of-a-kind detail that makes the day feel like them. For me, it's so rewarding to step back and admire how a couple's vision turns into something beautiful and unforgettable.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day?

The ceremony is always sweet - it's the heartfelt moment where vows are exchanged and love takes center stage. But the reception? That's where the magic really happens! It's the moment everyone gets to let loose, laugh, dance, and celebrate a love that will last forever. It's joy, fun, and pure celebration all rolled into one big party!

What is your best piece of advice to couples on their wedding day?

Couples, remember that marriage isn't about avoiding the hard days - it's about facing them together. There will be ups and downs, but through it all, you'll always have each other to lean on. With love, patience, and laughter, you'll find even the tough moments only bring you closer.

What is your go to coffee order?

I am always down for a seasonal specialty iced latte from a local coffee shop. I'm frequently trying new flavors! A recent fav would be the Cookie Crumble latte from Kanela!

I'm originally from Valparaiso, Indiana and am now a full time pediatric physical therapist here in Indianapolis after graduating from UIndy in 2021. My husband and I got married in 2022 at the Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.  In my free time, I like to workout (hike, run, lift weights), spoil our 9 year old Mountain Cur rescue, Sadie, and travel. My newest endeavors include DIYing some old furniture and making my own sourdough bread.

What is your favorite part about being a wedding coordinator?

I love being able to take the stress about wedding day from the bride, groom, bridal party, friends and especially parents! My parents originally took some convincing to have a wedding coordinator, but to this day they bring up how grateful they were to not have to worry about decorations, vendors, etc on our wedding day.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day?

I have two. I love getting to see the bride in her wedding dress for the first time! When her hair is done, her makeup is perfected, she slips into her dress and looks in the mirror, her face is everything!

I also love when couples are getting announced into their reception for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. The reception brings a sense of relaxation, fun, and creativity. This is when I get to see the bride and groom's personalities really come to life!

What is your best piece of advice to couples on their wedding day?

I suggest taking 15-20 minutes at some point after the ceremony to spend some quality alone time with each other. The day goes by so quickly and at the end of the day it's all about two people who love each other vowing to spend the good, bad, and everything in between together. Spend a few extra minutes soaking it in without the chaos of everything and everyone else!

What is your best piece of advice to couples on their wedding day?

In my experience, I have found that after introductions take place, go into your cake cutting and first dance. Everyone's attention is still on you and everyone is still seated. Your photographers are right there to capture those special moments and it also keeps your evening flowing once dinner has concluded. Your guests can be enjoying cake and coffee during toasts and the remainder of your special dances.

My favorite part about being a wedding coordinator is getting to encourage and hype up the bride, groom, immediate family, and bridal party on one of the most important days of their lives. What is your best piece of advice to couples on their wedding day?

Be present, be present, be present. Try to plan a moment right after the ceremony OR step away for a few minutes, just the two of you, at some point during the reception if you can to smile and take it all in! The day goes by so fast!!! Also, do not sweat it if details or people do not go or behave exactly how you hoped. No wedding day is absolutely perfect, but they are all beautiful in their own way
