Day 1 Wedding Coordinating specializes in partial planning and day-of coordinating, but it doesn’t end there. This includes guidance and support leading up to your wedding, timeline creation, talking with wedding vendors, and all those miscellaneous tasks that come up on the wedding day.

  • We meet to discuss the vision for your wedding, finalize the wedding day timeline, and work closely with you and your family to take care of anything you need that day. We provide unlimited meetings and communication so that you are confident that all wedding day details have been addressed!

  • We work with you and your wedding vendors to finalize the wedding day timeline, finalize details such as vendor set-up needs and arrival and departure times, and serve as the point of contact for your vendors. Looking for vendor recommendations? We have some of our favorites listed here!

  • On your wedding day, we are there from the start of your day until the very end! We will help assist with set-up and decorating the ceremony and reception space and help with the transition process from ceremony to reception. At the end of the night, we help with clean-up, tear-down, and pack up any personal items and gifts before our departure.

  • We are available for your wedding rehearsal, and we will partner with the officiant to assure everything goes smoothly.

Planning a Wedding Outside of Fort Wayne or Indianapolis?

We love to travel! If your wedding is 1+ hour outside of Fort Wayne, IN or Indianapolis, IN, it falls under our Travel Wedding Coordination package.

Includes everything from our standard Partial Planning + Day-of Coordination package, with additional time, prep, and logistics support for destination or out-of-area weddings.

For destinations that require flying, airfare may be added to the total cost. We’ll work with you to find the most affordable travel arrangements and will always confirm any additional costs before booking.

What does wedding officiating include?

  • 2–3 phone calls, FaceTime, and/or in-person meetings to discuss the ceremony and gather details about the couple.

  • Email communication with a questionnaire to get to know the couple and their story.

  • Guidance on ceremony structure, including what must be included and what can be personalized.

  • A customized ceremony script based on the couple's input and preferences.

  • Attendance at the ceremony rehearsal to walk through all parts of the ceremony.

  • Completion, signature, and mailing of the legal officiant portion of the marriage license.

  • Arrival one hour prior to the scheduled ceremony start time.

  • Officiating the wedding ceremony and legally pronouncing the couple married.

Wedding officiating services

What is the investment?

  • The total fee for officiating services is $350, which includes all planning, communication, rehearsal attendance, and wedding day services as outlined above.

    A non-refundable deposit of $175 is due at the time of contract signing to secure the date.

    The remaining balance of $175 is due two weeks before the wedding date and should be paid via Venmo. If Venmo is not an option, other forms of payment can be discussed and arranged as needed

What type of ceremony can i expect and how long will it last?

  • The ceremony is customized to your preference (i.e. with or without Christian elements).

  • The average length of the ceremony is 20 minutes and can be adjusted if you prefer.
